Altrusa Baby Shower kickoff is Friday 12th annual event to collect items for babies and new moms at YWCA Emergency Shelter
FARGO, ND – Oct. 22, 2012 – Community service club Altrusa International of Fargo will host the 12th annual Altrusa Baby Shower to benefit the mothers and children residing at the YWCA Emergency Shelter on Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27. Donations of new or gently used items for babies, young children, and new moms will be accepted during the event at the Fargo Kmart, located at 2301 South University Dr., or any time at the Emergency Shelter, located at 3000 South University Dr., Fargo. The YWCA Emergency Shelter has a capacity of 65 women and children and is currently offering a safe haven to 64 residents, including 33 children.
