What's Happening

Now THAT'S a punishment your teen will heed!

Two parents in Wisconsin have come up with a creative retaliation to their daughter's disrespectful behavior that she won't soon forget.
After their daughter 'got fresh' with them, the Midwestern couple confiscated the girl's cell phone for a week -- then twisted the knife by posting mortifying photos of themselves on her Facebook wall.
The unnamed parents, who appear to be in their early 40s, are pictured cross-eyed and flashing a peace sign in one photograph, which was posted online by the couple's son.
'My parents took away my sister's phone for the week,' the son writes on the social media website 'Reddit' under the username 'AustinMac.' 'They've uploaded about 10 of these to her Facebook. Doing it right!'
When asked what his sister had done to deserve the Facebook flogging, AustinMac responded, 'She got fresh.'
While the punishment might seem light-hearted and silly, some online commentators said they could imagine how such embarrassment would feel like social suicide for a teenager.
'Something like this would have been about the most horrifying experience of my life,' wrote one user. 'I feel for the sister.'

Parenting gone right
This, is the proper way to punish a child. Have enough respect for yourself to have the world laughing at you with you laughing as well, and also enough respect as a parent to show your kid you're the dominant one and that talking back or "gettin' fresh" ain't gonna get you anywhere with anyone in life. I'm a 20 year old female, by the way. So before my input gets judged by teenagers, I'd like for them to know that I'm not "old", nor am I a mother :) Seriously, they know what's up. Props to them.
